A pedestrian was killed last night when he was struck by the vehicle of a teenage driver on State Road 7 in Ft. Lauderdale, according to the Sun-Sentinel online. Based on information from the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the Sentinel reported that 45-year-old Fort Lauderdale resident Erbacio Mayorga was killed after the teen’s 2004 Chevy Blazer collided with him as he was crossing the roadway around 9:00 p.m. Although Mayorga was taken to Broward General Medical Center for treatment, he died soon after his arrival at the hospital.
