A Fort Lauderdale car accident yesterday resulted in injury for five people yesterday when the two-car accident sent one vehicle crashing into a nearby building, according to Rafael A. Olmeda of the Sun Sentinel online. Olmeda reports that the auto accident occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. when a Ford Fiesta driver traveling west on Sunrise Boulevard attempted to turn right onto Flagler Avenue and slammed into a Lexus, forcing the Lexus out of control and into a Progressive Insurance office. According to Matt Little, Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue spokesman, five people required transportation to Broward General Medical Center for treatment.
