A Port St. Lucie family is mourning the wrongful death of a mother who lost her life in a fatal truck accident this weekend, according to Katie Brace of the WPTV website. Tragically, Barbara Carlisle lost her daughter, Jennifer, who was 20-years-old at the time, due to a 2002 tractor-trailer truck accident. This weekend, another tragic truck accident took Barbara Carlisle’s life. According to Brace, Barbara left her home in Port St. Lucie in the early morning to make her way to work as a Spirit Airlines flight attendant. When she encountered a tractor-trailer accident on Jupiter’s I-95, she could not avoid the wreckage and was killed as a result of the ensuing collision. According to investigators, the initial accident occurred when a car pulled out in front of a “Rooms to Go” truck, causing that truck to slow down, which resulted in another tractor-trailer rear-ending the truck. Although one of the truck drivers may face a traffic charge, it doesn’t appear as if any criminal charges will be made.
