A Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputy lost her arm and suffered other serious injuries in a boating accident in Jupiter, according to the WPBF news website. The Jupiter boat accident occurred when Deputy Cheryl Griffin and a friend were riding in a boat near the inlet and crashed into a boat lift. Upon impact, another boat that was hanging on the lift fell on top of Griffin and the other women. Griffin not only lost her right arm in the Palm Beach County boat accident, but also suffered head injuries and a broken neck.
