Two men were killed in a Miami car accident Saturday, June 27, in what police believe was an illegal drag race, according to the Miami Herald. According to a spokesman from the Florida Highway Patrol, a speeding Volkswagen Jetta crashed into the back of a tow truck, and one witness reported that the car appeared to be racing another vehicle. Following the crash, authorities found the bodies of the two men inside the Jetta on Saturday morning. At Injury Law Service, we express our deepest sympathies to the families and friends of the deceased in this fatal accident.
Although the truck driver was reportedly not injured in the accident, many auto accidents such as these result in the wrongful death or serious injury of an innocent driver. Accidents caused by racing in particular can result in fatal or serious injuries due to the high rate of speed at which the accidents take place. Whether you were injured or lost a loved one in a racing accident, a normal-speed auto accident, pedestrian collision, bicycle accident, or any other type of accident on the roadway, David Benenfeld of Injury Law Service will compassionately answer your questions for free if you would like to know more about your rights, how to proceed, or how to receive proper medical care.
