A man from Miramar has been charged with two counts of DUI manslaughter, one count of child neglect, and two counts of DUI property damage for allegedly killing a motorcyclist on September 8, according to the Sun Sentinel. Thirty-one-year-old Robert Jones was reportedly driving his fiancee’s 9-year-old daughter to school on his motorcycle when he struck 43-year-old Davie resident Eric Maron. Tragically, Maron was killed in the motorcycle-vehicle accident. Following the collision, Jones walked several blocks away. The Sun Sentinel reports that Jones plans to plead not-guilty to all charges against him in the Broward County accident.
