An auto accident on Atlantic Blvd. Tuesday, November 24, involved a Broward Sheriff’s deputy and injured at least one other person, according to the Sun Sentinel. The deputy was reportedly trapped in his patrol car after the three-vehicle car accident, which occurred when an SUV crashed into the patrol car as its lights and siren were activated.  Upon impact, the police cruiser crashed into a BMW.  The injured BMW passenger and the deputy were transported to local medical centers for treatment.
