What Are the Common Types of On the Job Accidents and Injuries?

  2. Fall on the same level. This can occur from torn carpeting, objects left on the floor, poor lighting, or a number of other reasons. These on the job accidents often cause disabling injuries for workers.

  3. Fall to lower level. This type of workplace accident typically occurs in construction sites when negligence occurs or proper equipment isn’t used. Injuries that come about from this type of on the job accident are generally debilitating or fatal.

  4. Bodily reaction. These types of injuries occur from reaching, climbing, bending, sitting, standing, and slipping without falling.

  5. Struck by object. This type of on the job accident generally occurs in construction sites, roadside or highway work, or manufacturing. When workers are hit by heavy equipment, serious and even fatal injuries occur.
